Cub Scout Pack 279

Pack 279 is located in Apopka, FL and chartered by the Westside Community Church.

Cub Scouting is a character-building program that embraces the values of citizenship, compassion, cooperation, courage, faith, health and fitness, honesty, perseverance, positive attitude, resourcefulness, respect and responsibility. Pack 279 emphasizes and encourages the involvement of the family in all of our Pack activities.

The sheet bend (also known as becket bend, weaver's knot and weaver's hitch) is a type of knot, related in structure to the bowline. It is fast to tie and useful when joining two ropes of different diameters or a rope to a sheet corner.
