Pack Handbook
Cub Scout Pack 279 is open to all boys ages 7-10 or 1st - 5th Grade who live in the Apopka FL area. Boys can join any time during the year.
Boys age 11-17 check out Troop 414.

Cub Scouting is fun with a purpose. A character-building program that embraces the values of citizenship, compassion, cooperation, courage, faith, health and fitness, honesty, perseverance, positive attitude, resourcefulness, respect and responsibility. Pack 279 emphasizes and encourages the involvement of the family in all of our Pack activities. Pack 279 is located in Apopka, FL.

Timber Hitch

The timber hitch is a knot used to attach a single length of rope to a piece of wood. This knot is easily undone after use.
